This incense is handcrafted and super infused. No charcoal, no synthetics. Due to it's wood base, it may take a moment to "catch" for self-burning, and to release fragrance. Incense is generally safe around pets except for birds (always use best caution). Use in a fire-resistant incense holder - or - a bowl of sand, sugar, salt, rice, or soil. Keep away from other flammable objects.
